SAPPA
The Jammin Foundation supports the SAPPA Scholarships - Programs SAPPA is a music and arts preparatory program for youngsters in under-served communities. We deliver a musical experience through workshops and clinics and work in partnership with tutorial, mentoring and instructional programs. SAPPA works to increase community awareness and student participation in existing programs, provide support systems for families, and assist students in their personal development. Sabado Studio of Music

Purpose: In the city of Chino Hills, there is a music studio that raises the limits of Education, Musicianship, and Performance for the community and for the young students in elementary, middle, and high school. Each student is challenged equally and significantly in all 3 major areas and becomes well adjusted to his or her strengths. This could include anything from individual instrumentation, sight-reading or sight-singing, to song -writing or music arrangement or orchestration, to usage of microphones on-stage to completing a 45 minute singing-set while keeping the audience entertained.
Keeping these thoughts in mind, the studio has formed 2 basic foundations that are missing in traditional private instrumental teaching and public music forums provided by the unified school districts. This is to (1) begin music training on the piano, and to (2) find the right instrument with the right complimenting strengths suited to that student’s ability. For some reason, picking an instrument to fulfill the needs of the band or orchestra, or for an individual to simply apply themselves to an instrument previously played by a parent or sibling, is how choices are made.
Scholarships
Take the initiative to get your children involved. Money shouldn't be returned to donating companies because we fail to apply for it. Please pass this information on to family members, nieces, nephews, friends with children etc. We must get the word out that money is available. If you are a college student or getting ready to become one, you probably already know how useful additional money can be.
